Foil Sessions and Mtn Tracks collect personal and location data in order to provide session tracking and analysis features. However, this data is stored securely on your device and is never transmitted or shared with Svartkobb AB or any third parties without your explicit consent.
Neither app includes third-party SDKs or embedded analytics frameworks. They are built to respect your privacy from the ground up — no external libraries are used for advertising, user profiling, or behavioral tracking.
If you choose to upload a session to Strava, the app will transmit session data (such as route, distance, duration, and activity metadata) directly from your device to Strava’s servers.
Once uploaded, your data is handled according to Strava’s own privacy policy and account settings.
If you choose to share a debug track using the “Share Debug Track” button, you are voluntarily sending a file that includes sensor data (e.g., location, speed, movement) from that session. This data is used exclusively to test and improve the accuracy of session metrics.
No debug data is shared with third parties.
If you email Svartkobb AB for support or feedback, your email address and message content may be retained for quality assurance. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and will never be used for marketing purposes.
If your email includes logs or debug files, they will be stored only as long as needed to resolve the issue — and for no longer than six months.
We will not disclose your information to any third party unless you expressly consent or it is required by law.
